When you go to your appointment to apply for a new passport, you will need to bring the following items with you to the post office:

  2. Proof of U.S. Citizenship. You will need to present original physical documentation proving your citizenship status (for example, your birth certificate). In addition, you will need to bring a photocopy of the document.
  3. Proof of Identity. You will need to show, for example, a driver's license. In addition, you will need to bring a photocopy of this identification document.
  4. A recent color photograph (a "passport photo") which must show the front of your face, and be 2x2 inches in size. Sierra Vista Post Office does have passport photo services, and, for a fee, your photo can be taken there.
