Passport Services at Vancouver Post Office

Vancouver Post Office can accept first-time passport applications, and can facilitate passport renewals. You can schedule an appointment at this post office by calling 360-992-5000 or schedule an appointment online using the Online Scheduling Tool. When you go to your appointment to apply for a new passport, you will need to bring the following items with you to the post office:

  1. A completed U.S. Passport Application form (DS-11)
  2. Proof of U.S. Citizenship. You will need to present original physical documentation proving your citizenship status (for example, your birth certificate). In addition, you will need to bring a photocopy of the document.
  3. Proof of Identity. You will need to show, for example, a driver's license. In addition, you will need to bring a photocopy of this identification document.
  4. A recent color photograph (a "passport photo") which must show the front of your face, and be 2x2 inches in size. Vancouver Post Office does have passport photo services, and, for a fee, your photo can be taken there.

See this resource from the U.S. Department of State for full instructions on how to apply in person, including the full list of documents that can be used as proof of U.S. citizenship, and the full list of acceptable identification documents.
